📝  Speaker Bio: Brian Rowley is the Deputy General Manager of the Clark County Regional Flood Control District, where he provides leadership and oversight for district operations, capital improvement programs, flood control planning, engineering, and strategic initiatives supporting Southern Nevada’s regional flood control system.

Brian earned a Master’s Degree in Water Resources Engineering from Brigham Young University and has spent more than 20 years in the Las Vegas Valley working on flood control, stormwater infrastructure, FEMA flood studies, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, and major public works projects. Prior to joining the Flood Control District, he spent 11 years in the private sector with Atkins and now helps lead one of the nation’s largest regional flood control programs.

Brian currently serves as President of the Nevada Chapter of APWA. Outside of work, he enjoys coaching volleyball, playing golf and pickleball, spending time outdoors, and chasing his six kids around to their various activities.
