Ten of our Nevada Chapter members accepted the APWA PACE (Presidential Award for Chapter Excellence) at PWX in Atlanta on September 9th. Our chapter has provided examples of how Public Works professionals, acting at the chapter level, in a volunteer capacity can enhance membership benefits at the local level, increase Public Works visibility and in turn demonstrate to the communities how Public Works can “Advance the quality of life for all”!
