Join Us for a William Street Project Update with Carson City Public Works

Join us for an inside look at the William Street Project, one of Carson City’s major Complete Streets corridor improvements.

Darren Anderson, PE, City Engineer with Carson City Public Works, and Matt Weber, Project Manager with Granite Construction, will share an update on the project, which is currently under construction and planned for completion by the end of 2026.

William Street is the fourth major corridor Complete Streets project completed as part of Carson City’s ongoing effort to revitalize downtown and improve key corridors leading into the downtown core. This project represents an important investment in transportation, infrastructure, mobility, and community connectivity.

During the presentation, Darren and Matt will discuss the project from both the owner’s and contractor’s perspectives, including key challenges, lessons learned, project wins, and what it takes to deliver a major corridor improvement while balancing construction, coordination, public impacts, and long-term community benefits.
